Membership Options
You can choose a 1–5-year membership which can be automatically renewed unless cancelled. (You will get advanced notification before your membership is auto renewed)
1 year – £8
2 year – £15
3 year – £22
5 year – £35
PLEASE NOTE: All members must register with their own email address, even those in the same household. You cannot share the same email address as it would stop you accessing areas like the forum.
Renewing your membership early
You can renew your membership up to 90 days before your expiry date, without losing any of your current membership. You will need to log into your account to renew.
If you are logging in for the first time, you may need to register an email address before you can access this option. Follow the link on the Renew a Membership page.
Important Information
- You receive an instant membership card which you can download and save. You can also access your card anytime via the online membership area or by downloading the NCMD App.
- There is a £2 additional charge if you would like to order a physical membership card when joining. Please allow up to 25 working days for physical cards to arrive.
- Lost/Damaged Membership Cards have a £2 replacement fee.
- Your membership covers the whole of the UK. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the different Treasure Laws - see our Detecting Advice section.
Postal Applications are available by downloading this form and sending to us a cheque/postal order.
