Alan Tamblyn, NCMD General Secretary had an enjoyable day yesterday, with some great fellow detectorists and a film crew from BBC Morning Live.
Alan said, “It was great to meet Paddy and Andy Hooper and ‘Jelly’ from Colchester, all very responsible detectorists who are passionate about the hobby. Rhys and the guys from the BBC did a great job in understanding that the hobby isn’t all about ‘treasure’ and ‘gold dances’. Hopefully, it’ll be a bit more factual than some of the recent tv offerings”.
