Recent changes to the NCMD means we have some new faces on board. The majority of the NCMD Committee and Trustees are volunteers recruited from our own members. This means they have a vested interest in the NCMD and detecting. They work hard giving up their time to ensure our great hobby remains protected. Meet your NCMD Team
We’ve recently added some extra membership benefits as well, at no extra cost to our members:
- Our specialist detecting insurance is now £10 million of third-party cover with £0 excess.
- Committee Members Cover – We now cover NCMD members who sit on the committees of detecting clubs. Covering you for any club activities you organise.
- Families Detecting Together – under 16’s are now covered by our insurance, provided they are accompanied by an adult NCMD member.
- Free Carer Cover – For those with restricted mobility, we’ve extended our insurance to cover a carer, if you need one to assist you whilst detecting.
